Due to ongoing HVAC construction at the Gignoux Courthouse, the Clerk’s Office in Portland will be closed for in-person service from noon on April 17 through the end of business on April 21.  Please note public terminals will not be available in Portland during this closure.

The Court remains open to the public with regular proceedings during this time.  The intake window and public terminals in Bangor will also remain open and available during normal business hours. 

In Portland, from April 17-21, the Clerk’s Office will continue to provide public service remotely via email and phone during our regular business hours (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM).  If you require in-person service in Portland during our temporary intake window closure, such as to drop off or pick up documents, please call to schedule a time and place for a representative to assist you in Portland.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we move our Clerk’s Office operation into temporary space for Summer 2026.  We look forward to reopening in this space on April 22, 2026, at 9:00 AM. 

Please note that while we are operating in temporary space, the intake window at the Gignoux Courthouse will open at 9:00 AM and close at 4:00 PM each business day with its regular 30-minute closure for lunch between 12:00-12:30 PM
