Chief Judge Lance E. Walker of the United States District Court for the District of Maine announces that Jennifer P. Lyons, Esq., has been selected as the next Clerk of Court for the United States District Court in the District of Maine, effective February 2, 2026.

A graduate of Wellesley College and New York University School of Law, Ms. Lyons has spent time in private practice as well as over 20 years providing dedicated public service to the federal courts in the District of Maine.  She has previously served as a law clerk to both the Honorable Morton A. Brody and the Honorable George Z. Singal.  Most recently, Ms. Lyons has served as the Chief Deputy Clerk of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maine.  She is a member of the bar in both New York and Maine.
