Court Hosts Visit from the U.S. Naval War College

On July 31, 2024, the United States District Court hosted a visit from students from the United States Naval War College. Chief District Judge Lance E. Walker and District Judge John A. Woodcock, Jr. visited with the students and answered their questions about the U.S. justice system. The U.S. Naval War College, located in Newport, Rhode Island, educates decision-makers by providing educational experiences and learning opportunities. As part of the College’s curriculum for the Field Studies Program (FSP) they host international students from allied militaries all around the world, teaching them about American politics, institutions, businesses, culture, and anything else that gives them a better understanding of the diverse nature of the United States.
