The United States District Court for the District of Maine, in partnership with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the Supreme Court Historical Society, will host a free week-long educational program at the Gignoux Courthouse and University of Maine Law School in Portland.
During the program, students will examine a local Sixth Amendment case, collaborate with peers, and engage with Federal Judges, historians, and local attorneys.
The program will take place July 20-24, 2026, and is open to high school students in grades 9-12 during the 2025-2026 school year.
