Due to scheduled work being performed by the Bangor Water District, the Margaret Chase Smith Federal Building, including the U.S. District Court in Bangor, will be closed to the public on Monday, October 5, 2026.

Court staff will be working remotely and will remain available to handle routine filings and telephone inquiries. 

The Court expects to resume normal operations on Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
