The United States District Court for the District of Maine will host a naturalization ceremony on Friday,  April 10th, at 11 AM in Courtroom 2 of the Margaret Chase Building, 202 Harlow Street in Bangor.

The Honorable Lance E. Walker will preside as the Court administers the oath of citizenship to approximately 24 new citizens from 18 different countries, including Australia, Canada, Columbia, Germany, Greece, Honduras, India, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, United Kingdom and Vietnam.

During the ceremony, the John Bapst High School Chambers Choir will perform.  The ceremony is open to the public and the Court has invited representatives of Maine’s Congressional delegation to attend.
